NME magazine published an interview with Morrissey at the end of last year where, amongst other things, he spoke about immigration. The comments he made seemed to be verging on racist, or condoning racism, but Morrissey insisted that they had been taken out of context and edited to show him in a bad light.

Johnny Marr, former Smiths guitarist has spoken about the possibility of The Smiths possibly reforming in the future.
Marr, who was recently appointed as a professor of music at the University of Salford, has said that he’s very open to the possibility of the British Eighties super group reforming.
