Is Mick Jagger Gay? - Rolling Stones Band Mate Keith Richards Questions Sexuality
Keith Richards has seen fit to question the sexuality of Rolling Stone band mate Mick Jagger, and after over 40 years of sharing sexual partners, there’s not anyone who would know better than Richards.
According to the NME, Richards gave an interview to GQ magazine in support of the release of Shine A Light, the Martin Scorsese directed documentary which is due in theatres from April 4th.
When asked about the rumours of Jagger’s sexuality over the years, Richards said:
“I really have no idea if anyone ever shoved it up the shitter. I’m not there watching it every day. But there was, at the time, a load of excruciatingly painful campness that went on.”
What a way with words he has!
Richards also spoke about the amount of women he and Jagger shared over the years, explaining that after Jagger stole his girlfriend Anita Pallenberg from him in the Sixties, he started to steal the front man’s girlfriends in an act of ongoing revenge:
“I’ve stolen quite a few off of him and, uh, he’s nudged his way into my lot, but not significantly. After the Anita thing, I made a point of stealing every bitch he had.”
I don’t think Richards will be winning any awards from the council for the eloquent use of the English language any time soon. Not that such an organisation actually exists but you get my point.
As for Jagger’s sexuality, and the pair of them sharing a veritable stable of women down the years, surely that’s just living the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle that’s expected of you when you’re in a band such as The Rolling Stones?
