Is The New Coldplay Album Called ‘Prospekt’?

No, at least according to the band themselves, who are yet to announce the name of the follow up to X & Y. The denial comes after numerous reports suggested that the title has been chosen as Prospekt.
However, Chris Martin and co did confirm that they are close to finishing their fourth studio album, with it being in the final mixing stages.
The highly anticipated album is now pencilled in for a release on May 19th of this year.
The band explained on their blog:
“Mixing has been slow and painstaking but that’s just the nature of the beast. So… give us another month or so and we might just have an album worthy of your patience.”
Hopefully the band have chilled out a bit, especially Chris Martin himself, and aren’t going to try and make every song absolutely perfect before release. There’s something to be said for having a more raw, and rough around the edges feel to an album, and I personally hope that’s the way they are going with it.
Whatever happens, the album is sure to be brilliant, and I’ll be pre-ordering my copy as soon as the listing appears on Amazon.

Yeah, but he signs his entries at the Coldplay website Prospekt. So what does it mean?
