Led Zeppelin Drummer Jason Bonham Claims Calls For Full Tour Are “Greedy”!

The Led Zeppelin reunion concert was such a massive success that there have obviously been massive calls from the public, especially fans who couldn’t get tickets for the one off gig, for a full UK, or world tour.

I am with them, wishing the existing members would just bite the bullet and give everyone what they want.

But not everyone shares this view, and unfortunately that number includes Jason Bonham, John’s son, and the man who drummed at the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert.

Jason told Billboard:

“I’m still the new guy and I wouldn’t know. Is it gonna be again? Don’t be greedy… If they do it again, of course I would love to. But that’s up to them. Only time will tell.”

“[The gig] still… kinda feels surreal, like it never really happened in some way”.

“I had to work at I, really prove that I could do it and not just say, ‘Hey, I’m John Bonham’s son. I should be doing it. I put a lot of work into it… listening to all the different live versions I had.”

“You’ve got to earn this, ‘cause there’s a million drummers out there that would love to cut your throat right now and take over.”

So he seems to have loved the experience, but is unsure if the band will ever do it again. We’ve already heard from Robert Plant, before this gig happened, that a full UK tour wouldn’t be happening, and this just adds to the signs that despite all of the rumours surrounding the possibility, it just isn’t very likely to happen.
