Led Zeppelin Fan Strips Naked For Tickets
There are a host of disappointed Led Zeppelin fans who failed to secure one of the 20,000 tickets available for their reunion show at the London 02 Arena November 26th.
Some have been desperate enough to go searching on eBay for tickets which are going for many times more than the already steep face value price.
Whether they end up being allowed in to the gig is as yet unclear as the organisers of the concert have built a security check in to the plans to ensure only people with official bought and paid for tickets gain entrance.
Virgin Radio DJ Christian O’Connell decided to make the most of fans desires to get tickets and held a contest to see what the most outrageous thing they would do to get hold of one.
One fan was desperate enough to offer to strip naked and run around Soho in London to get the ticket on offer, but even that wasn’t enough to win the competition.
The eventual wnner was Grant Marzell, a guy so desperate he went to the the Virgin studios and had two humiliating things done to him. First he had all of his chest hair waxed off, and then had his arm tattooed with the Virgin radio logo.
Now that’s what I call serious fandom. I think I’ll stick to trying to forget the concert is even happening. If I can’t go, then it’s not actually on at all, is it? IS IT!

I hate to say it, but I’d probably do something like what that guy did (though I’m no stranger to waxing or to tattoos) to get GOOD Michael Buble tickets. I’m not talking about the crap you get on eBay - I mean like, I get to meet him and hang out with him after the show kind of tickets. LOL
Yes, I too am a sick and twisted fan. But that guy deserves more than just some seats for that!
