Maximo Park & The Editors Live Videos | Bands Play On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
I have two live videos of British bands for you today which I think you might enjoy. Maximo Park and The Editors are 2 of my favourite bands at the moment, and have both released amazing second albums in 2007.
While on their promotional tours over in America to support the new albums, they appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and both performed brilliantly.
First off The Editors performing ‘An End Has A Start’ and the start of ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors‘. I can’t believe the programme cut off only 30 seconds in to the 2nd track but we at least get 1 full song.
Maximo Park play current single ‘Girls Who Play Guitars’, a song which I reviewed last month.
It’s a great performance although it seemed to me they got a bit of a damp response from the crowd. Maybe America isn’t quite ready for Maximo Park yet.
Obviously being in the UK, I don’t get to see the Jimmy Kimmel Live show so don’t know how often he features British bands. Does he have a love for British music in particular or is it just coincidence that he had 2 massive British bands on the show in the same month? I salute him anyway.
