MTV UK Launch Search For Next Zane Lowe On MySpace

Do you fancy being the next Zane Lowe? Well you can’t because there’s only one Zane Lowe obviously, but you could at least get a job similar to his, and all by just uploading a video to MySpace.
MTV UK & Ireland are searching for a new presenter, who will work across MTV One, MTV Hits, MTV Base, TMF, and VH1.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of getting your dream job as an MTV presenter is go to the MySpace page for MTV News Random Report, and upload a short video of yourself presenting to camera.
The best, as judges by MTV, will be invited to attend full auditions in London, and could secure themselves a five day a week job.
The successful applicant will also get to attend, and host news bulletins from the MTV Europe Music Awards, due to be held in Liverpool late next year.
I won’t be applying for the job, because as much as I like writing about the British music scene, I don’t think I have a face for television. I’m so ugly, I’d even upset people if I hosted my own show on the radio.
