Pete Doherty Gives Kate Moss A Dead Rodent
Pete Doherty is a chivalrous young man isn’t he?! Not only does he charitably give one of his pet kittens some of his prized cocaine stash, he also gives people presents. This latest one is a doozy as he’s allegedly presented former lover Kate Moss with a brooch which has a dead mouse attached to it. Freak.
He reportedly got the idea and inspiration for the bizarre gift from Kate Moss’ new train wreck bosum buddy Courtney Love, who gave a friend a similar gift a while back.
A source told the Daily Star:
“Some people might find it disgusting but it’s still art, if in its extreme sense. Nobody baulks when Damien Hirst puts a shark in formaldehyde and this is very similar.”
“It’s become the latest outlandish fashion statement in Manhattan but Pete is trying to emphasise how he feels without Kate – defeated, crushed and broken, like the dead animal.”
Pete, what are you up to? Rather than give Kate a dead rodent attached to a bit of tat, what about an apology for nearly ruining her modelling career while she got high with you?
Now, I’m just off to make a present for my girlfriend, it’s a necklace with a piece of crap hanging from it… don’t laugh, it’s art apparently!
